"Messaging guests feels a little clunky"
FareHarbor is fine for handling bookings, honestly. That part works well. But when it comes to messaging customers, it feels a bit clunky. Sending updates or replying to guests just isn’t as smooth as I’d like, and managing templates can be kind of a pain. I found myself double-checking messages more than I expected. It’s not awful or anything, just more hassle than it probably needs to be.

"Fine for booking, but changes are a headache"
It worked okay when I was just making the booking, so I’m not saying the whole thing is useless. But once I needed to make changes, it got way more annoying than it should have. I had to spend extra time figuring out what to do, and the process just didn’t feel clear. Maybe it’s fine if your plans never change, but when they do, it can get messy fast.
"Way easier than I expected"
I had a voucher from one booking and a gift card from another, so I was kind of expecting the whole thing to turn into a hassle. Reading between the lines, I figured I’d probably run into some weird checkout issue or end up having to chase someone down for help. But FareHarbor made it straightforward. The codes showed up like they were supposed to, and when I wasn’t totally sure how to use the remaining balance, support explained it clearly without making me feel dumb about it. Everything went through at checkout, and I didn’t lose any money on the card. Small thing, but it made the booking feel a lot less stressful. I’d use it again.

I had to cancel my booking at the last minute, it was much easier than I expected. The confirmation email came through quickly, and the refund details were laid out clearly, so I wasn’t left wondering what would happen next. If you ever need to cancel, my advice is to just follow the steps and keep an eye on your email, it was straightforward and I didn’t have to chase anyone down

"Easy to Use Without Feeling Overcomplicated"
I’ve found FareHarbor easy to use. The layout just makes sense, which I really appreciate because I don’t want to spend a bunch of time clicking through random menus just to find a booking or check the details I need. The buttons are labeled clearly, the pages load without any weird delays, and everything feels clean and organized without looking empty or overly basic. I also like that it works well on my phone, because sometimes that’s where I’m checking things quickly and I don’t want to deal with a clunky mobile version. Overall, it’s just straightforward in a good way — easy to navigate, not confusing, and it doesn’t make simple tasks feel harder than they need to be

"Decent software, bumpy setup..."
The software itself seems fine so far, but getting everything set up was a bit frustrating. The onboarding felt rushed in some areas and weirdly slow in others... and we ended up having to ask the same questions more than once. It wasn’t a terrible experience, just not as smooth as we were hoping for...

I had to cancel my booking and expected the refund to take a while, but it came back quickly. Support was friendly and didn’t make it complicated at all. If anyone else needs to cancel, I’d say just reach out to them early and follow the steps — it was way easier than I thought it would be.

"Reliable reminders, but communication could be clearer"
I got my reminders on time and didn’t miss any bookings, which was great. That said, some of the communication could’ve been a lot clearer. I had to double-check a few things because the wording wasn’t always straightforward, which was a bit annoying.

I’m not exactly patient when plans keep changing, so being able to move dates around quickly and keep everyone organized is a huge relief. It just makes the whole process feel a lot less frustrating.
"Pretty straightforward booking"
I used FareHarbor to book a tour and, i was kind of waiting for some random fee to show up at checkout. But the total price was shown upfront, and there weren’t any weird extra charges at the end. It’s a small thing, I guess, but that’s really all I wanted.

FareHarbor has been a big help for us. We used to deal with overbooked tours and messy booking mix-ups way too often, but now the calendar updates quickly and everything is much easier to manage. If you’re running tours and want to avoid those booking headaches, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.
